Kristin was our initial survivor.  Her lateral broke off at the gumline and could not be saved. Her teeth were gray due to staining. She suffered from dry mouth due to chemotherapy in 1995 which resulted in many root canals, fillings, and crowns. Her main concern was the many different colored crowns placed in the past giving her what she called "a lightbulb"  on the bottom.

We replaced the lateral tooth with a porcelain bridge and placed veneers and crowns across the top in 2007.  We improved the lower teeth with matching crowns and veneers in 2008.

Ginny won our survivor smile makeover in 2009.  Smile MakeoverShe is very good at taking care of her teeth.  When she was little, there was a baseball accident resulting in a major root canal in the front and a crown.  The root canal severely discolored that tooth.  As a single mother with 2 children, she never had the means for braces to straighten and fix her smile.

We straightened Ginny's smile with anterior veneers and crowns and lightened up her dark tooth.  The process took only a couple of weeks, and she's very happy with the results.

Our 2010 winner was Sandi.  She's a mother and blessed grandmother.  She suffered from early colon cancer in 2008 and again diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma and Ductal Carcinoma Insitu in August of 2009.  After multiple weeks of chemotherapy and numerous rounds of radiation, she's here to tell her story and raise awareness.

She was concerned about her darker teeth due to chemo.  Her midline was slightly off, and we moved it closer to center.  Some teeth had chipped, but overall had taken great care of her teeth.

Our 2011 survivor was randomly chosen to be Pascoalina.  She is a survivor of breast cancer since 2007 and  belongs to several cancer support groups.  She is very proactive in the cure for breast cancer.

She had several concerns about some posterior teeth in which we fixed before addressing the front teeth.  She was concerned about how she didn't show a lot of teeth when she smiled.  Also some teeth turned dark due to previous treatments.  We lengthened  her teeth and performed some gum surgery to allow for a brighter smile.
